gaelic stone inscription

hi, i was travelling in donegal and came across a bridge in the middle of nowhere.it had a large granite rock next to it with gaelic lettering. translated "As far as this they used to come 
friends and relatives 
of the person leaving 
for foreign lands, 
here was the seperation 
This was the bridge of tears"would be grateful for any history on it or a web page many many thanks and have a nice day regards john western australia!
