Interested in visiting Ireland in mid-February 2008. We are from the U.S. What would the weather be like? Is it green all the time in Ireland or does the grass die in the winter? Any info would be helpful. Thanks so much!

The grass is greener in the winter because it rains so much. The weather in February will be windy and wet most likely. If you're from Maine you won't think its cold, if you are from Florida you will. Don't let the rain put you off because (a) it rains all year round and (b) you can still see the sights, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to pack an extra suitcase full of shorts and sunscreen.
