Hello!

Please help me! I am needing to know what the Irish translation is for the English word "Stronger" is. Can anyone please tell me? I am of Irish decent and I am wanting this to be my new tatoo.

The phrase for "stronger" in Irish is "nios laidre" ("laidir" means strong). There is an accent "/" (or fada) on the i in nios and on the a in laidre/laidir. It is pronounced "neece loydra" and "loyjir". I would suggest you get confirmation from somewhere like Conradh na Gaeilge or Gael linn before you actually do something as permanent as a tattoo though! (www.cnag.ie www.gael-linn.ie) Good Luck!
