sales tax

Am visiting Ireland in February. All of our accommodations are at B&B's. The rates quoted are always per person. Just wondering if Ireland charges sales tax on top of that rate? Thanks so much!

As a rule of thumb, all rates quoted by hotels and B&Bs etc USUALLY include tax. The same applies to retail prices in shops, i.e. prices shown should already include the tax. (You can claim back the VAT on purchases if you are returning to a country outside the EU).
