Hopefully you have an approximate date of birth for your grand-mother as well. Indexes to birth records are held by General Register Office Ireland - see http://www.groireland.ie for details. There is no online ordering or search service. The index books have to be searched manually.

For family trees, photocopies of birth certificates are what you want, giving their parents names and place of birth.

There are many good research agents with online ordering service available. See http://www.irishancestries.com for details. Agents can then do the manual searching for you.
