Honeymooning - looking for hidden spots

My husband & I will be in southern Ireland Apr 24 - May 2. We are looking for the must see things to do as we are doing a self-driving tour around the country. Besides the basics, what are the hidden "gems" of must see places?

You have to visit Ballycastle,Co Mayo .Fantastic scenery.Quiet beach.I have cosy cottage to rent at very reasonable rate.

Hi there - I went on a few daytours with galway tour company and had a great guide called delan somers - well worth the price of the ticket as i got to hear some great stories - tell him a guy from NJ recommended him -
