father james kilpatrick & eliz robertson  
married Peter Coyle son of edward coyle bleacher and mother mary McCulloch  
had daughter mary ann born in dublin,have contacted all over this is my last chance ar 77 years think i have left it to late

Births and marriages in Ireland only began to be officially recorded in 1860s. Before that, only parishes may have records of baptisms or marriage ceremonies.  
Birth and Marriage Certificates are issued by General Register Office Ireland - see for details. Their records are only searchable manually. There is no online ordering service.  
Some parish records have been computerised and we can search them as well. 
For family trees, photocopies of birth certificates or of baptismal records are what you want.
