Cornelius Ryan

By Sheila Makinson

I am researching the paternal side of my family tree and have hit a brick wall with my Irish roots. My Great Grandmother Bridget Agnes Ryan married Joseph Harris King in Colchester in 1867. On their marriage certificate she gives her father's name as Cornelius Ryan a farmer from Cahir, Tipperary. This is all the information I have of the family and wondered if there is anyone out there who can help with anything further. Many thanks

MARRIED EDWIN RICHARDSON AND WENT TO INDIA WITH HIM. MY GRANDMOTHER HENRIETTA WAS BORN THERE - SEVERAL OF HER CHILDREN WENT TO COLCHESTER...ANY CONNECTION I WONDER?
