my grandmother was from ballydehob co cork she sailed to the usa on the titanic, she then went to new york and worked as a domestic, she was sponsered by her brother jack kelly.just wondered if in your lovely town if anything is mentioned about her. she married john heslin,also from ireland. he saw her name on the titanic and saw that she survived, she came over here by herself at the age of 20, she was quite a great lady. she went back to ireland again, she was a perky soul and was game to travel alone to many places... i wish i had known her more. she died when i was 6, but i do remember her. she was a lovely ,lovely lady...mary moynihan
