Is it comfortably possible to travel/see sights in & around Ireland in this fashion:
day 1 - Arrival/Dublin - st. pat's cath., gregorian squares & guiness storehouse.
day 2 - to Cork - coming out of Dublin stop briefly at Wicklow ntl pk.& Waterford factory, Blarney Castle
Days 3 - from Cork go to Ring of Kerry & Torc Waterfall going to stay in Clare.
Days 4 & 5 Cliffs of Moher, Boat Museum & Dysert at O'Dea Castle, Rock of Cashel
Day 6 - On the way to Derry check out Donegal/Belleck & Glenleven Castle-stay in Derry
Day 7 - Giants Causeway then on to Dublin leave in PM.
Is this do-able? Input would be greatly appreciated.
Only do-able with a driver in a Merc. You'd be recovering for a month after a trip like that. Two days in Dublin needed. Take a day to go down the coast to Waterford, another day for Cork. The Ring of Kerry is a full day and stop over. Forget Clare, land at Shannon next trip and take time to enjoy it. From Kerry take a leisurely trip up the midlands to Dublin via Adare and Kildare (National Stud, Japanese Gardens, The Curragh) Keep Northern Ireland for another time, It's a holiday not an endurance test! Enjoy, bring warm clothes and a good raincoat with a hood. Talk to the natives..........
