My wife and I are visiting Dublin for the first time and we are going to a show at Vicar street. 
I am unable to locate it on the map, could you give me some idea of the area I should be looking at on the city centre map of Dublin, providing of course it is in the city centre.

Hi, are there any reasonably priced hotels about 10 mins away from the theatre, not in temple bar. Is the theatre close to o'connell street please

The nearest hotel wopuld be Jurys, Christchurch. Opposite Christchurch Cathedral, about 10 mins walk to Vicar Street. Vicar Street is not a street - it is the name of the venue, so you need to ask for Thomas Street. You catch the 123 bus from O'Connell Street and ask for the Vicar Street stop on Thomas Street, it will cost you 1 euro.

i'm visiting dublin on in 3 weeks time, also going to a show in vicar street. could you possibly get me details of either a b+b or a youth hostel close to the area. it would be very helpful if you could do this for me. many thanks. Bill.
