I am due to visit Dublin with my wife early June and was wondering approximately how much a taxi would cost to transfer from the airport to Ballsbridge?

A taxi to Ballsbridge should cost in the region of €30-35 or so. 
 
The Aircoach bus service (www.aircoach.ie) provides a comfortable journey to Ballsbridge and is considerably cheaper at €7 per person (one-way) or € 12 return. It stops at most of the hotels in Ballsbridge, and runs 24 hours.

Hi Simon, 
I think you can pay less of 30 euros.I paid that amount to go from Dublin's Airport to Dun Laoghaire which is farther..

Cheapest Shannon Airport to Tipp is probably by bus. You may need to change in Limerick. If you're interested in private transport, I can do this for 129 Euro for 5 people. http://www.karontravel.ie

Probably about 30 euro. Aircoach is 7 euro per person so if there are a few of you it makes better sense to get taxi to the door of hotel
