An Poc Fada is Monaghan's premier venue for live music and sporting action. Enjoy live music every weekend and watch all sporting action on our six screens positioned around the pub! The pub hosts the classic, warm invitation of an Irish pub, furthered by a large open fireplace. Our abundent use of natural, solid wood and natural stone tiles helps create an authentic old world charm.
The 'poc' remains a great spot for an after-work get-together, or a lively venue for those wild weekend nights. One of the pubs best features is its fully equipped beer garden. This large outdoor area is sheltered and heated, enabling you to relax outside on those lazy summer evenings, or keep warm and dry on those cold winter nights. The beer garden also hosts Monaghan's only outdoor bar, which opened in June 2007!
