Byrnesgrove Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast is located near Ballyragget, County Kilkenny, and is an excellent base from which to explore the 'Sunny Southeast' &emdash; it's only about 20 minutes from Kilkenny, Carlow and Portlaoise.

It has three guest bedrooms, each of which has tea making facilities and a TV. Guests receive tea/coffee and some delicious home baking on arrival, while a home cooked breakfast is on offer each morning. If you're a city slicker and want to see how a traditional Irish farm works, this is the place to stay. The inhabitants of this farm on the Castlecomer Plateau include cows, calves, sheep, a donkey, goats, two dogs and a rabbit.
