Carlow Guesthouse is located just outside of Carlow town in county Carlow. The guesthouse is an ideal base for exploring both Carlow and the surrounding counties of Kildare, Wicklow, Wexford, Kilkenny and Laois.
The 13 en suite rooms have all been thoughtfully decorated with pleasant colour schemes. Carlow Guesthouse is nicely located in the heart of Carlow town. It's a great spot for a night out. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants for you to check out. If you want to go for a little golf, then the area is well served with a number of golf clubs - Carlow, Mount Worsley, Kilkea, Killerig, with the nearest being only 3km away. If you want to try a little angling then the Rivers Barrow and Slaney are not far away. Russeltown Stables is only about 5km away, or, if you prefer, there are plenty walking routes such as the Leinster Way, the Wicklow Way and the Barrow Way.
Other areas nearby worth explore include Kilkenny Castle, the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens all of which are within 40km of Carlow Guesthouse.
