Dillon's Cottage is an excellent 4 star self catering accommodation located in the beautiful village of Rockcorry in County Monaghan.

The four bedroom authentic style cottage is designed with modern simplicity. The home is a spacious, liveable, child friendly property right in the heart of a wonderful rural setting yet only a five minute walk to the village of Rockcorry. The kitchen is a great space for entertaining and is equipped with all modern conveniences. The furnishings combine a variety of traditional styles with up to date comfort. The centrepiece of the living area is an enticing open fire where you can enjoy a relaxing evening in. As soon as you walk through the doors of the cottage you will feel like it's your new 'home away from home'.

Dillons Cottage is located just a short distance from the enchanting Dartry Forest Park. The village ofRockcorry is centrally located to tour the counties of Cavan and Armagh. With a variety of places to visit in Armagh a day trip there is well worth while. The 'drumlin county' is full of history and culture and this is apparent on a visit to Monaghan County Museum. With an abundance of great fishing lakes and rivers in the area, it's an angling heaven for those of you who love to come home with a good 'catch' at the end of the day. Monaghan is renowned for inspiring the great writings of Patrick Kavanagh &emdash; maybe it'll inspire you!

Directions

Leaving Monaghan town travel on the Cootehill Road. Pass the Swans Cross roundabout and about 1.5km on there is a Roman Catholic Church on the right hand side. Take the third left after the church.
