Doban is new townhouse offering B&B style accommodation in the charming old fishing port of Arklow in County Wicklow, known as the 'Garden of Ireland' for its leafy, lush rural scenery.
It's a very agreeable and attractively decorated guesthouse with a large private car park for guest use and a pleasant garden area where you can sit back and enjoy the fresh air breezing off the Irish Sea.
Doban is both family friendly and welcomes hen and stag dos. There's a babysitting service available and all the rooms are non smoking and equipped with a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hair dryer.
Staying at Doban will allow you to check out Arklow which is a quaint old fishing port with an abundance of decent restaurants and a handful of lively pubs, some of them playing Traditional music. There's also no shortage of outdoor opportunities, so if you fancy a round of golf, a spot of horse riding or just a day at the beach you can get all this and more.
Directions
If you're travelling from Dublin on N11 take R772 into Arklow town. Pass a church and school on the right and take a right after the school. Doban is at the bottom of this cul de sac.
