Gleann Aoibhinn is located a few kilometres outside of Carrick On Shannon, County Roscommon. This modern bungalow B&B is situated in a rural setting in the midst of farmland so you can be sure of a serene environment.
The rooms in Gleann Aoibhinn are all quite spacious, comfortable and ensuite. Each comes with its own TV and tea/coffee making facility so you can make yourself a cup at any time. One of the three rooms in the house is a family room with a double and a single bed. When you arrive you can expect a nice cup of tea or coffee and some home made scones. In the morning you'll have your choice of a full Irish breakfast, a continental or an omelette made from farm eggs for breakfast.
Gleann Aoibhinn is a perfect touring base for the surrounding area. Some of the finest places to visit include Lough Key Forest Park, which is 350 hectares of both forest and open parkland and lots more. Boyle Abbey, the ruins of a Cistercian order church and Strokestown House, a large 18th century mansion with large beautiful gardens and a Famine Museum, are also well worth a visit. Popular local activities include golf, angling and horse riding.
