It is secluded in the countryside, just on the outskirts of Adare, in County Limerick, which is renowned for being one of Ireland prettiest villages.
This cosy traditional cottage has been renovated to excellent modern standards while still retaining its great rural charm. The three bedroomed cottage, which is attached to the family home, can accommodate up to six people with two single beds and two double beds. One bedroom is en suite and all rooms come with free bed linen and towels. It has a well equipped kitchen and a living area with open fire. The cottage also has a garden for guest use where you can relax on those sunny afternoons.
When you stay at Hamilton Cottage, you can enjoy the beauty of the Irish countryside from your doorstep and a perfect way to sample this is outdoor activities. So play a round of golf on one of two 18 hole golf courses, take in some fishing or discover the delights of the countryside on horseback. The village of Adare is where you'll find award winning restaurants, craft shops and traditional pubs. It is steeped in history with numerous castles, abbeys, churches and thatched cottages lining the streets. To step back in time, visit the Heritage Centre and the Celtic Theme Park. Hamilton Cottage is also an excellent base for touring with easy access to the rugged south west region.
Directions
As you travel from Limerick city to Adare, take a right at Lantern Lodge roundabout. When you cross the railway line you'll see four houses on the right, then take the lane immediately on the right.
