- Walk, cycle, or take a mini bus tour to see the island highlights when you arrive there.
- Enjoy tea, a pint, or a lunch in a variety of pubs and small cafes.
Inis Oírr is a charming island with a lot to offer. Visitors to this island can enjoy medieval ruins, seal colonies, a shipwreck (of Father Ted fame), a lighthouse, fantastic walks, and much more. Upon your arrival to the island you can choose to then walk, rent a bicycle, hire a pony & trap, or take a mini bus tour around to see the best parts of the Island.
While on Inis Oírr you get the true feeling that the islands were once part of The Burren, Co. Clare. The flora and landscape of this island has northern and alpine species which are rare and under conservation order. All visitors are advised to be respectful of the natural environment when visiting. Looking out onto the Clare Coastline you witness breath-taking views of the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher from a truly unique perspective.
After enjoying a few hours on Inis Oírr the ferry will depart the island at 13:45 pm, and 16:45 pm to then return to Doolin Pier.
