Lighthouse Dwellings are fantastic 3 star self catering vacation rentals located on the scenic Arranmore Island close to the rural village of Leabgarrow, County Donegal.
The homes were formerly a light keepers dwelling and they each consist of three bedrooms. The two three bedroom houses are semi detached and command some great sea views. There is a lounge, a fully fitted kitchen, pantry and utility room in the properties. There is a mature garden where you can see the waves crashing against the coastline or the seagulls glide across the ocean. Unfortunately these properties are not suitable for young children as they are very close to sea cliffs.
Lighthouse Dwellings are the best place for you if you are looking for a restful and relaxing holiday. The Arranmore Islands have some really lovely walks and fantastic sea and cliff views. You can take the professional ferry service across to Burtonport, a thriving and friendly fishing village. There, you can take in some angling in the well known fishing spots of the area. You can even ask the locals for some helpful advice or you might be lucky enough to catch a rainbow trout!
Directions
Lighthouse Dwelling is signposted from the village of Leabgarrow. Travel uphill and keep the lake to your left hand side as you are driving. Proceed for about 1.5 miles until you reach the holiday home.
