Lough Allen Lodge is a superb 4 star self catering holiday home located in the beautiful village of Drumshanbo in County Leitrim.
The three bedroom home has a very high standard of fittings and comfort. The master bedroom is en suite and there is also a separate bathroom with a shower as well as a shower room in the premises. The kitchen and living area are beautifully furnished and are equipped with all modern conveniences. There is a balcony on the property where you can relax throughout the day overlooking the fantastic local scenery. The facilities here are excellent with use of the premises swimming pool and fitness centre and there is even a bar and restaurant on site so you won't have to go very far for some good food and great 'craic' in the evenings.
Lough Allen Lodge is not too far from the pretty town of Drumshanbo. Lough Allen is a great spot for angling with a wide variety of fish to be caught in the clear waters. Discover the enchanting countryside from a different perspective with an uncrowded and relaxing cruise of the inland canals and lakes of the Shannon Erne Waterways. Why not explore a little of Leitrim's distinct past with a trip to the ancient Corracloona Megalithic Tomb not to far away. Since Leitrim is bound by water, it is no surprise that the people embody its character with a free flowing, relaxed and light hearted nature.
Directions
As you leave Dublin take the N4 towards Carrick-on-Shannon. Take a right turn for Leitrim and Drumshanbo. The Ramada Hotel and Resort is on the right &emdash; the lodges are located in the grounds of the hotel.
