Lough Bishop House is a peace seekers haven surrounded by breathtaking scenery in Collinstown in County Westmeath. The house was built in the 19th century, but has been lovingly preserved and carefully restored to provide top quality luxurious accommodation.

The B&B has three elegant bedrooms where you will be assured of a peaceful nights sleep. It has two double bedrooms and a room with a double and single bed. You'll find your guestroom to be spacious and comfortable with superb views of the countryside from the windows. All rooms are ensuite with power shower.

Lough Bishop House stands on a 100 acre mixed farm so you can get a real glimpse of country life. Much of the home cooking at the B&B, is in fact made with fresh produce from their own farm, garden and orchard.

This is the perfect base if you are looking for some place central for touring, as it is located right in the heart of the country. Here, you days can be filled with endless activities like fishing, golfing, horse riding and quiet country walks. The countryside is dotted with lots of historical attractions like forts, castles, monuments and ancient churches. Some attractions not to miss include Tullynally Castle and Gardens, Clonmacnoise Monastic Site, Trim Castle and Belvedere House and Gardens.
