Moorland is a superb accommodation just off the Mullingar bypass, 3km from the town centre. You will receive a warm and friendly welcome when you arrive at this Frommer Recommended accommodation.

It has six guestrooms including a single room, four double rooms and a room with a double and single bed. All rooms have electric blankets and their own ensuite. There is also private parking, a garden and a cosy open turf fire for you to relax beside.

When you stay at Moorland you are just 3km from the bustling town of Mullingar, so you won't be too far from good food, drink, entertainment and shopping. Of course this historical town and its hinterland is dotted with lots of attractions, the most popular being the Fore Abbey, the castle at Castlepollard, Belvedere House and Gardens. The many woodlands and lakes that surround the town create perfect opportunities for fishing, nature trails and water sports.

From Mullingar follow signs for Dublin. Turn left at the first roundabout and continue straight on at the second roundabout. B&B well signposted.
