Morrisey Cottage is a charming 3 star self catering accommodation, which provides a unique opportunity for you to relax and unwind in the tranquillity and beauty of the Irish countryside. It is located in a quiet, rural setting near Adare in County Limerick, probably one of Irelands prettiest villages.
This farmhouse retains all its cosy charm whilst offering all the comforts of modern living. It has three bedrooms, which can accommodate up to seven people with three single beds and two bunk beds. Beds come supplied with free bed linen and there is a baby's cot if required. There is also a main bathroom and a ground floor toilet with electric shower. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern conveniences and the living room is cosy with an open fire.
When you stay at this holiday home you are only a short drive to the famous picturesque village of Adare, which will take your breath away with its thatched roof cottages, beautiful gardens and medieval churches. This village itself is full of history and heritage and for those of you who want to step back in time, a visit to the Adare Heritage Centre on the main street is a must. It is also conveniently located near major attractions like Foynes Flying Boat Museum, Lough Gur and King Johns Castle. Adare is only a half an hour drive to Shannon International Airport and this little village is the gateway to the Southwest, so base yourself in the Morrissey Cottage when visiting destinations like Cork, Kerry and Clare.
Directions
From the village of Adare, pass the Woodlands House Hotel on the right hand side and travel for 2km. When you come to a garden centre, take a sharp left and travel for 1km.
