An imaginative and informative exhibition of Connemara's marine heritage is represented through a multidimensional presentation. There is a seaside picnic area with telescope where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Connemara coast and mountains. The centre features an Aquarium, Maritime Museum, audio visual show and a display entitled Old Days, Old Ways. A children's play area, access to a sandy cove and sightseeing cruises are other features of an enjoyable day out. The complex accommodates a Sea Angling Centre and a craft shop. There is a tea room with light refreshments and home made produce.
