Mizen Head tour starts in Killarney town. At the first stage we will drive through Killarney National Park visiting Torc Waterfall, beautiful plase created by nature, hidden in always green, very dense medival forest. Heading along N71 we reach Ladies View, first place at our tour with spectacular view at the lakes of Killarney National Park.

Driving away through Moll's Gap towards Kenmare town, one of most cute place in Ireland. Druid's stone circle (circa 3000 years old) and Cromwell's bridge ( circa 1000 years old) are waiting for you in Kenmare. Town itself as well, specially on Wednesday which is fair market day, where local fishermen , farmers and craftsmen are selling own products.

Leaving Kenmare, we cross Kenmare River, heading to Glengariff village. There are three places to stop on the way. Bonane Heritage Park with it's attractions. Evidence of stone fort, ruins of traditional Irish cottage and stone circle called locally "Judge and Jury" because of 13 stones. Next stop at Lorge Chcolatier. Little, family run chocolate factory, at this place you can refill you energy for further travel. Moving along N71 we have to pass road works zone, nothing unusual but digger driver working here has stumbled across a thousand-year-old tunnel, what is the evidence of early human activity on this area.

Driving up to the mountains through more present tunnels but still old. hand carved by men without diggers and bulldozers. Last, longest tunnel is actually a link between Kerry County and Cork. Glengariff village next. Great place for lunch, cosy, little restaurants serving delicious food from local farmers and fishermen. Glengariff village next.
