This farm house cottage is 500 years old but has been lovingly restored to excellent modern standards while managing to retain many of the features of bygone days. The cottage will also provide you with a chance to experience the magic of sleeping under a real thatched roof. It has three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people as it contains four single beds and one double bed. One bedroom is en suite, while there is also a main bathroom with shower. Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge for your stay.
While Rossbeg Cottage is great for a relaxing break, the area has an extensive array of activities for you and the family to enjoy. For golfing enthusiasts, the cottage is conveniently located next to an 18 hole golf course. There are also facilities for horse riding, fishing and hill walking near by. The Cresent Shopping Centre is only 2km and Limerick Racecourse is located at just a ten minute drive. Limerick city is Irelands fourth largest city and is beautifully situated on the River Shannon. To sample some of the city's history and heritage, visit attractions like King Johns Castle, The Hunt Museum and Saint Mary's Cathedral.
Directions
From Limerick city take the new N20 road. Turn off at the R926 to Limerick Golf Club and when you come to a roundabout go left. Take a right at four consecutive crossroads and Rossbeg Farm House is the first house on the right.
