The Turoe Pet Farm and Leisure Park form a surround for the Turoe Stone, a rare National Monument dating back to the first or second century B.C. This granite rock, exquisitely decorated with curvilinear designs in the Celtic art style known as Le Tene, i s believed to have been used as a ritual stone in its original setting at the nearby Rath of Feewore.
The farm is mainly a drystock farm with over 150 cross bred ewes and over 50 cattle.A variety of domestic and rare birds and animals can be enjoyed on the trail, the duck pond has many breeds of duck and geese waiting to entertain the visitor.
