Charles Dickens’ much loved classic has been brought to life in a wonderful new version by Alan Stanford. Nell Trent lives with her doting grandfather in his London shop, a magical place filled with dust-laden treasures. Secretly Grandfather has been gambling away what little money they possess and borrows heavily from evil profiteering loan shark Daniel Quilp, who in turn seizes the opportunity to take possession of their beloved shop.
Whilst on the run from Quilp and his band of misguided money seekers, the pair fall in with a number of colourful characters, some villainous, some affectionate. Quilp, however, is not a man to be trifled with, something they are all about to find out the hard way.
