Oldbridge, Co Meath

This little unassuming town reveals nothing of the momentous battle which was fought there on the hills above it. It was here at Oldbridge that the Protestant forces of King Willaim of Orange crossed the Boyne to attack the Catholic forces of King James 2, the exiled king of England.
