Stamullen, Co. Meath

Stamullen is a village in County Meath, Ireland on the border with County Dublin. It lies just off the M1 motorway some 35 km north of Dublin City and beside the River Delvin. Recently it has been expanded by the development of numerous housing estates in the area.

The village contains a supermarket, pub, three hairdressers, gents salon, veterinary clinic, butcher, fast food outlet,, laundromat and a coffee shop.

Stamullen is also home to Silverstream Priory , , Benedictine monks of the Diocese of Meath. In March 2012, the monastic community moved into Silverstream House, originally built in 1843 by the Preston family . The monastery specializes in celebrating the Liturgy in Latin, Gregorian chant, Eucharistic Adoration and the spiritual assistance of Roman Catholic clergy.

In October 1999, a Real IRA training camp and underground firing range were discovered near the village.
