Ferbane, Co Offaly

Attractively sited on the Brosna, Ferbane is an picturesque village, which has prospered from the surrounding activities on the boglands. Just south of the village is the monastic settlement of Gallen. Here there is a 13th century church and a significant collection of 8th to 11th century graveslabs.
