Ireland and the UK share a “Common Travel Area” which means there are few border controls between the two countries, and no requirements for citizens of either Ireland or the UK to travel between the two countries. However, this does not extend to those who are not citizens of either Ireland or the UK.

Please take note of the differing entry requirements for the two jurisdictions, and that permission to enter one country does not necessarily extend to the other.
