Autumn is upon us and here at Moloughney’s it’s our favourite time of year and our thoughts are turning to nature’s cold weather comforts: blackberries, Bramley apples, rabbit, venison and pheasant. It’s time to start planning and plotting ways to entertain ourselves and catch up with old friends over the winter, and yes, many Christmas party plans are already underway in Clontarf!
On the menu look our for the Slow Braised Pigs Cheeks, delicious Salt Cod Fritters or the refreshing Crab & Lime Salad. We also recommend you try the Smoked Wild Mushroom Galette – we smoke the mushrooms here using a Bradley smoker.
Mains, you ask? Well now is the perfect time to enjoy Comeragh Mountain Lamb and festive meats like Wild Irish venison, rabbit & pheasant.
But save room for the taste sensation that is the Poached Pears with Homemade Goat’s Curd Ice Cream, the old fashioned comfort of Baked Rice Pudding with jam, or the Salt Caramel Chocolate Tart that everyone’s raving about!
