From Melbourne Australia.
My families (grandfather) last Dublin address (1887) was 5 Havelock Sq Nth, Beggars Bush, Sth Dublin.
I can not seem to locate it anywhere.
Could some one help,
I know beggars bush, but they may have renamed Havelock Square this is a link to a business in the area… maybe you could look up some history under on of the new names?
beggars bush is in the dublin 4 area and runs into Haddington Road. Its just south of the city centre and canal. There is an old barracks building in the area
Thanks Fiona & Alan,
I contacted the Ireland Print Museum which is located in the old barracks and they said it was just down the road.
They were very helpful the Curator/Manager said it is quite close to where they are located. The National
Print Museum is located in Beggars Bush Barracks which is about 5 minutes walk from Havelock Square. The correct address nowadays for Havelock Square is ‘Havelock Square, Bath Avenue, Dublin 4’. It is located at one side of the Lansdowne Road rugby stadium.

Thank you for your help as well.
It looks like a very pleasant spot nowadays with parks and open space, I feel it may have been a bit more industrial and basis back then.
