Hi, thinking of going to Carrick on Shannon in November.can anyone tell me if its a good spot at this time of the year or is it really only for the summer months.
Hello Michelle just to let you know we have self catering houses in Carrick on Shannon and we cater for hen parties all year round. We are a minute’s walk from town so no driving or taxis needed. Carrick is very popular owing to it’s relatively good selection of quality restaurants and pubs and nightclubs/late bars. The town is hen friendly. There is a nice selection of niche boutiques and jewellery etc shops not forgetting various pampering palaces!

Hi there, I’m organising 11 men as a 21st celebration on 3 boats from Carrick on Shanneon in August. I need help decided which direction is best, what towns they should moor alongside where they’ll find traditional Irish pubs, local football/cricket teams, hire bikes, maybe fish, good pub food -what 21 year olds like! Help?
Carrick on shannon is a cool place for stags, we were there last wk and had great craick,
I’m trying to organise my sister’s hen party for march 2012 and hear it’s a good spot. I reckon there could be 20-30 of wild women on tour. Could you recommend a cheap ?& cheerful place to eat that is lively, pubs & a good club. Also we would like to do a boat tour and some activity during the day…what’s the crystal maze??
Any tips on accommodation would be welcome.

The CRYSTAL MAZE ye are all asking about in in LOUGH KEY and is called the BODA BORG – brilliant team activity that won’t get you too sweaty 😛
