My husband and I are coming to Dublin from Bath (which we’re still not sure how we are doing that yet as we are booking our trip without a travel agent and have had little luck finding appropriate transportation) anyway…. we are staying at a place called The Fitzwilliam. Can anyone tell me what is near by and recommend places to eat and sites to see? Thanks!

Fitzwilliam area of dublin is quite upmarket. It is in the trendy south side of the city. You must visit temble Bar area. that is where the life is.Most economical transport is boat from Holyhead and Dart train right into city.
Have fun. We are visiting from the US from 1 June

The Fitzwilliam is one of the most upmarket hotels in Dublin at present as is situated in the heart of the city beside St. Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street. Dublin’s Planet Hollywood and soon to be opened TGI Friday’s are situated adjacent to your hotel.
Have a great trip,
Stephen
