Dear madams, dear Sirs,
I am a german postgraduate Ph.D. student at Cork Institute of Technology and I will stay the night from saturday, 13/05/00 to sunday 14/05/00 in Dublin. I will arrive by train from Galway and leave for Germany at 7:00 a.m. by plane.
Probably you could help me with the following question:
I have been looking for a B&B accommodation at the website http://www.commerce.ie/towns_and_country/index.html
Unfortunately, there is an extensive list of choices of particular areas in Dublin. Since I
am not that familiar with the city centre, I was wondering which accommodations can be found in the near environment of Dublin station. I would be very happy if you could me give further information. I will contact these places directly then.

Dear Pierre,
You will be arriving by train into Heuston Station. this is on the south side of the city along the River liffey. Most city centre hotels will suit your requirements. My personal recommendation would be Jury’s Inn at Christchurch. It is very good value and as you are just passing though the city an ideal option. A taxi (a taxi rank is outside the train station) should not cost more than £3 to where you are going.
