I will be visiting Ireland from March 13 to March 21, 2008.Is this a good time of the year to visit or will a lot of attractions and shops be closed? Looking for any advise ASAP. We may be booking today!!
The obvious answer is there will be a lot of visitors for St Patrick’s Festival (13-17 March). That should mean a fair bit of activity in Dublin and at least a parade in almost all towns in the country! Check out http://www.stpatricksday.ie. The weather is possibly one of the only draw-backs – nothing guaranteed for that time of year!
