    Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Bank of Ireland, 2 College Green, Dublin Ireland

See the former Houses of Parliament, the first of their kind in the world. We will then move on to see Trinity College from its magnificent outside (groups are only allowed into the campus when visiting the famed Book of Kells).

    Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Grafton Street, Dublin Ireland

THe main shopping street of Dublin but it offers a few surprises as well. We will go up a side laneway to reach our next destination, Powerscourt Townhouse.

    Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, 59 South William Street, Dublin 2 Ireland

Once there are no Covid-19 restrictions we will enter here (a mask may be required until Covid-19 has dininished sufficiently). Even though it has been conveted sensitively into a specialised craft shopping centre you will still see the magnificence the aristocracy of the 18th century lived in.

    Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Dame St Dublin Castle, Dublin 2 Ireland

Originally built as a substantive castle in 1204 it is today an 18th century palace with some medieval remains. We will see the courtyards and then the lovely historic gardens. Here you will view the exceptional Chester Beatty, one of the most amazing museums in the world.

    Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, 21-50 Patrick’s Close Off Clanbrassil St., Dublin 8 Ireland

After a very intersting walk along some back streets you will arrive to St Patrick’s Park, in an area known as the Liberties, to take in the largest church in Ireland. Great photo opportunities here! Hear also about some illustrious Dublin writers including one of the most famous who was Dean of St Patricks, Jonathan Swift.

    Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Christ Church Cathedral, Christchurch Place, Dublin 8 Ireland

We will finish the tour here but not before you encounter traces of the former Viking & Medieval town. We will finish in the grounds of Dublin city’s oldest church, Christ Church Cathedral, first founded by the Vikings in 1030. After our tour feel free to visit internally to Christ Church, Dublinia (the Viking & Mediieval Museum) or Dublin Castle.

    Duration: 20 minutes
