About Crafty Hound and Lagan Valley Experience (inc Tea & Scone)
Let Walk It Off NI connect you with the extraordinary people and places of Northern Ireland, hidden in plain sight, under our noses whilst walking together, outside, in lovely Lagan Valley Regional Park. The walk is just over 5 kilometres in total and we pause for delicious coffee/tea, scone and conviviality at The Crafty Hound restaurant, before wandering back, gazing at the rural surroundings with more familiar eyes.. This experience is just 15 minutes from the centre of Belfast and is and outdoor so please wear suitable walking shoes and layer up and bring waterproofs-it is Northern Ireland after all!

Let Walk It Off NI connect you with extraordinary places and people, hidden in plain sight, under our noses. With a max of 8 people, this is a small group experience, designed for your enjoyment. Meeting in Drum Bridge car park, we will walk together along the beautiful riverside of Lagan Valley Regional Park, chatting as we go and discussing points of interest along the way. We will pass under a wonderful road bridge and pedestrian bridge (which is imbued with some of my own family history). This pretty path, bordered by water, passes McIlroy Park, and past Tullynacross where we come upon a man with excellent taste in drinks 🙂 We get up close and personal with Aberdelghy Golf Course and walk through little Bells Lane park, ending up in the Crafty Hound just in time for tea/coffee and a scone. Taking our time to eat, drink and learn a little about the 50 year history. We may even meet the owner for a chat! The walk covers 5K and is quite flat but often muddy so please dress appropriately for the NI weather!
